CoreCares About Helping Small Businesses Recover

We are excited and honored to announce our recent collaboration with The Barstool Fund, a fund that was created to support small businesses struggling to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. Restrictions may be lifting and many things returning back to normal but millions of small businesses are still struggling to rebuild and recover from the damage and losses they endured. Like founder of Barstool Sports and creator of the fund, Dave Portnoy, we are passionate about small businesses and understand the grind a small business owner takes on to make it. Many of these small business owners were forced to take on a second mortgage just to pay their employees and still found themselves losing their life’s work. The Barstool Fund

The Barstool Fund was created and launched by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports in an effort to help small businesses impacted by COVID-19. He began by donating $500,000 of his own money. Today, the fund has raised a total of $39,846,498, has 228,931 supporters and has supported 391 small businesses. To be considered for the fund, Portnoy says he’s looking for businesses with a proven track record of success and owners who kept most of their employees on during the pandemic.
