Here at Core, it’s our mission to make real estate transactions seamless, fast, unique but most importantly safe. In lieu of the recent spike in New Jersey COVID-19 cases, we are asking that once again only essential signers and their lenders attend closing.   Our top priority is to protect our team, customers and clients the best way we can. By working together, we have been and will continue to be successful doing both.

Important Notice About Government/Municipal Closures

 

As the restrictions still apply to most of municipalities and court houses we are doing everything in our power to close your real estate transactions in an efficient and timely manner however keep in mind we are limited as to what we control.   The Governor has implemented new COVID guidelines for restaurants and schools however no mention yet regarding municipal or government offices.

Settlements in our offices:

 

Needleman Company who are the owners of our Mt. Laurel Office have required that all individuals entering the building and walking in the common areas as well as outside the office building wear a mask.  They have installed several hand sanitizing stations throughout the building for everyone’s safety.

 

Only REQUIRED signers and their lenders are permitted to attend settlement, who will be separated at the settlement table as we have been doing all along.  We are asking that Sellers sign all necessary documents prior to closing to reduce traffic in our offices.  Your Core Processor will walk you through the appropriate steps to comply with this request.

If other parties do show up to closing, we will be keeping those non-essential individuals outside of Core offices.

 

  • We will do our best to accommodate requests to conduct refinances in residences based on the willingness and availability of our contracted notary closers.
  • We strongly recommend and advise scheduling refinances to be in our Core offices where we can monitor, control and enforce our sanitation policies, social distancing and other important health practices

 

Please be patient with our scheduling department as we are limited in what we can control but will make it our top priority to accommodate your requests.

 

Updated Core Office Sanitation and Health Protocols

 

  • The coffee bar will be temporarily closed for sanitation and social distancing purposes
  • We discourage sign holding and gathering to take photos following settlement.
  • Please FedEx or mail us your deposit checks, if you absolutely must drop off the check in person we will have designated bins in areas that comply with CDC social separation recommendations
  • Review Current Core Sanitation and Health Protocols
  • Cleaning high-touch surfaces more frequently with strong disinfectants
  • Using disinfecting wipes on settlement tables, chair armrests and any surfaces touched in the settlement rooms after every settlement
  • All pens used for settlement and in the office will be picked by the individual signing, used only by the individual and taken home or disposed of
  • Doors will be kept open to reduce handle touching
  • Increasing the number of hand sanitizing stations and bottles throughout our offices
  • Temperature screenings will be done upon entering our offices
  • Any team members exhibiting flu like symptoms or feeling sick will be required to stay home and we ask that any of our clients feeling ill not enter our building.  If a client is feeling ill we will make other arrangements in order for you to close.

 

With the Holiday season only weeks away and family gatherings on the rise  we feel it is more important than ever to make sure everyone is wearing masks and making social distancing a priority.  With all this said our goal is to keep all of our customers and team members safe.
